Agave plants are exotic, deer-resistant, drought-tolerant plants with an amazing garden structure. Agave plants are called century plants since some species of this succulent genus take 100 years to flower in the wild. These plants are beautiful garden plants.

Agave prefer full sun and although they're drought tolerant they need to be watered when the soil becomes dry.

Keep in mind that these are living plants. We always try to ship out all plants without any damage to their leaves and pick the healthiest one for you, and we also properly label each package so that the postal service is encouraged to handle it with love! However, minimal amounts of damage during shipping are very common, dropping yellow leaves/damaged leaves is a normal occurrence. We can truly only guarantee that the plant will be alive upon arrival with a healthy root system in place, but we always pack the plants safely to prevent any damage.

It is normal for the soil to be dry and leaves to be limp, your new little plant friend will just need some time and lovin' to adjust to its new environment. Remember: Plants grow and change so even if a leaf or two arrives with some damage they will put out new ones! That is the beauty of nature!
